    The problem with UK boxing

They only support their fighters but their fights just ain't that good.

Americans support fighters from all over the world.

They had a decent lil 2/3 year run but now we're seeing the bottom fall out.

Plenty of good domestic fights tho. Just keep them away from the world level.

The real problem with UK boxing fans is they spoil good fights with terrible singing that not a single word can be understood and they never finish the song. They seem to think it helps their boxer win but it doesn't. They sung their lungs out for AJ for all the good it did him.

Was fun since they were singing during AJ’s first two knockdowns in the third.

I like boxers based on their fighting and what kind of person they are. Where they live makes no difference at all to me. I like many American boxers but not all of them. Many of my favorites are not Americans.

They do support their boxers which is good someone like Dillian Whyte will get no attention if he was American and someone like Michael Hunter would be a household name if he was a Brit

They do go overboard with fanboyism doe

At least they show support for their own. It would be nice if American boxers were shown the same amount of support from fellow Americans.

They aren’t doing too badly. The lineal and #1 Heavyweight is Fury who schooled what many here say is the greatest heavyweight since Ali coming off of years off and shedding 150 lbs, Josh Taylor is excellent as is Callum Smith. It’s not that bleak really.

I wish the sport was as well attended here. It sucks when you go to a fight that’s great on paper or there’s quality fighters and it’s half empty.

TS only roots for African American fighters so kind of a case of hypocrisy there.
