It's far more likely to come from the Spanish Conquistadors who vanquished the Aztecs, subjugated them, ****d their women, and took their land and gold.

The Conquistadors were a mean bunch of bastards.

Probably down to upbringing and environment. They aren't pampered like alot of westerners.

That's why Russians are a tough bunch also.

As you bring the "blood" here...... before the Aztecs, there also were the Olmecs, the Mayans, the Toltecs ...

The Conquistadors were Spaniards. Where are all the great Spanish boxers then?

Do you really not know the difference between someone who speaks Spanish and someone who is actually from Spain?

Do you consider english speaking Americans to be English?

Again where are the great boxers from Spain? There seem to be a lot from Mexico.

It’s the culture and the overwhelming popularity that influence the sport.

Similar to baseball in Dominican Republic, soccer in Brazil, when something is that much of the culture, all children participate.

The elders have significant knowledge to give foundation to the youth, the better prospects move
On and are supported by the country.

Boxing in Mexico doesn’t have camps like baseball in DR but they have coaches like Nacho in DF that will work with the best prospects in the area.

Mexican school Of boxing is the best in the world and that heavily influences the fighters and their success.

                    Simple: Environment and culture (socialization).

It’s just romanticising something that doesn’t necessarily exist.

There’s thousands of glass chinned Mexican journeymen out there too, so what about them?

There’s has been some very good mexican fighters over the years, very tough, but that also goes for USA, UK, Japan, Russia, etc etc.

You’re either good or you’re not and you’re either tough or you’re not. It’s an individual thing.
