Why would anyone who is taking a dive get knocked down four times?

Strong cope from Brits. Joshua got his ass kicked. Simple as that.

I'll be supporting Ruiz, nothing against Joshua and if he wins fair play to him but i prefer Ruiz, love his fast combinations.

You're probably right. Win or lose the Ruiz rematch; as long he can at least go the distance.

You mention team sports but we are talking a sport that is individuals. Furthermore, some people will be drawn to tribalism more than others and interpret that tribalism in different ways (religion, citizenship, skin color, ec).. I will represent fighters from my locality if I like them and thier style (e.g. Bruce Seldon and Gatti when I was a kid and Jarrett Hurd nowadays).

Country of origin, religion and skin color don't really play into it for me but I don't fault someone else if it does, just be honest about it.

Ruiz is a homey, what's not to like. English have never seen anything like him. Ship a ranfla over there for PR pictures.

a lot of the UK will be rooting for Ruiz too. Many fans here can't stand Joshua and Hearn. They rip fans off. Talking to people here they were so happy to wake up and see the headlines Sunday. Come on Ruiz

Robertthebruce you made an excellent point with the deontay and fury fight being pre plan to be a draw.and to prove my point even further look at how Joshua just smiles after every knockout.thats a dead giveaway and how he just up and quit when I know thang well he had more in him.and if he can dominate guys like povetkin lol great acting Joshua lol

A lot of Brit fans are casuals and the definition of sing when your winning. Real fans knew this was a tough fight that could go either way and aren't so damning of AJ. He performed horribly, but if he does what he needs to he has a better chance to win the rematch. Ruiz will only get better too.
