Ruiz got the title shot because Miller failed tests. That's the only reason. Terrible fight vs Parker, ... Schwarz was highly ranked, did he deserve to fight in Vegas? Against Fury? Lifestyle choices yeah look at Ruiz. LOOK AT HIM. What did he do in the ring before the AJ fight to deserve the fight? ... Can't hand out free title shots with mulitiple million dollar purses to everyone who puts gloves on. You have to earn it or get lucky and Ruiz got lucky.

1) Ruiz and any other Top 15 fighter is worthy of a title shot, whether you accept it or not. 2) Schwartz highly ranked?? Only in some alternate reality ... not in this world. 3) Ruiz physique and candy bars? Never measure the skills or toughness of a man by his looks ... he may not be GQ ready, but anyone who keeps up with boxing knew Ruiz was gonna go in there and put up a fight. What had Ruiz done? He should have won the Parker fight ( Parker ran mostly and got a hometown decision). Ruiz also dismantled Dimitrenko who, although he is not a champ, is a large, mobile, dangerous HW. Ruiz manhandled the 3 belt champ and you are still questioning his athleticism and dedication??

In case you didn't notice, Ruiz took care of AJ much like he did Dimitrenko. So much for "deserving" a multi-million fight. The proof is in the pudding ... on the mat where AJ was dropped several times. That "deserve it" talk is why many great fights don't get made and many cherry-pickers get protected from guys who don't have the hype. Can't believe you are defending that nonsense ...

And yea, Ruiz did get lucky getting this fight ... like AJ when he got first crack at Charles Martin. AJ hadn't done anything either.
