Unless something changes in next 4-5 months, I don`t see Joshua winning a rematch. i think Ruiz stops him again.

He doesnt need to win, he just needs to be able to take timeouts when he feels like during the fight and rest up on the ropes.

Maybe the tape on his gloves comes loose, maybe his mouth guard falls out, maybe the ref has to stop and wipe up water...

Or Maybe the ref just has to prevent them from boxing on the inside like he did in the Parker fight.

Or Maybe the ref will call an early stoppage like the Takam fight...

So many ways to get the belts back in England that dont depend on Joshua actually winning the fight based on his skills.

Hearn failed as a promoter big time. He waited too long to milk the Wilder/Fury fights and his fighter lost. Now Joshua has to build himself to make those fights big time again. He'd have to take his game to another level.

So does this mean no more “a side” talk?

Hearn went from " just a minor setback" to " It's pretty much over" in 2 days. lol

... What if he "knew" that his fighter isn't that good for such a test?... (which he eventually showed up not to be!)...

Aj will have to change his strategy dramatically to win the rematch.
I think AJ never recovered from the first KD and it didn't help him for the remaining rounds.

Somehow, I think he wasn't ready for the war Ruiz brought to him but more for a US MSG showcase.

AJ will have to fight a perfect fight in the rematch, if he does he wins 100% IMO

Ruiz might def have his number.
