For sure. Imagine if Wilder had clipped Jr with that hook and then started windmilling on him, he'd be getting countered the same as Joshua. Fury presents different problems, as for the likes of Whyte and Pulev, don't see much difference between them and Parker. Povetkin is probably too old now.

I looked at every heavyweight ranked in the top 10 either by the IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO or one of the media outlets.

I feel pretty sure he would beat Kyotaro Fujimoto and Robert Helenius. I guess those are my picks.

I think I might pick him to beat Hughie Fury, Dereck Chisora and Carlos Takam but I don’t know. I’m also not sure if I would pick him to beat Dominic Breazeale, Charles Martin, Alexander Povetkin or Michael Hunter.

I personally would pick Luis Ortiz or Kubrat Pulev to beat him. I would also pick Jospeh Parker to beat him again but that fight could have gone either way. I would pick Dillian Whyte to beat him but I think it could be very close.

Everyone else I didn’t list that’s ranked is undefeated and I’m not sure how those fights would go. I would obviously pick Wilder and Tyson Fury to beat him but every other undefeated heavyweight, I think is a toss up. I’m sure some of those prospects are too green and would get beaten by Ruiz, but I can’t say for sure.

So I ask you: which ranked heavyweights are you absolutely certain Andy Ruiz would beat?
I'm 100 sure he would beat Anthony again but quicker this time.

I just said the exact same thing not too long ago. They're going to invest a lot of money bringing people in to fix Joshua's flaws

Fury would be the most difficulty opponent for Ruiz, because Fury uses boxing skills to win fights and he would have a huge size/ reach advantage to use those skills. Wilder vs Ruiz could play out the same as Joshua vs Ruiz did but I think that Wilder could keep Ruiz at a distance for awhile and get in the more effective punches. Wouldn't be surprised if either KO'd the other. Ruiz has fast hands and he's more accurate than Wilder so if Deontay decides to do his windmill, he can be caught with the more accurate punches of Ruiz.

It’s just a matter if he can manage to stay clear of wilder’s right hand and close the distance effectively with such a reach disadvantage.
Well he got in close enough to take out AJ so it can be done, but Wilder's shot is so thunderbolt that Andy can't try take one to throw counters. He won't be able to snap back to his feet like he did in the 3rd.

Fact is, the guy who will beat Ruiz is the one smart enough to work the body. That's if you don't get clobbered trying to do it.

Wilder hooked to the body in the opening seconds of his bout with Breazeale and I almost fell out of my seat. Never saw him do that B4.

A heavy with a devastating body attack would run the division for a while. Andy did that well Saturday night against a guy with 6-pack abs, just think when somebody gets to his Ruiz' Snickers gut.

This is the heavyweights, and this guy is heavy. Not much skill at the division overall. Won't be surprised if he beat the highest ranked or was beat a D level guy.

                    The whole division is crap.

i might sound a bit crazy here, but imo ruiz would probably spark wilder and fury too. if ruiz can come in at 240-250 he would be sharp and fast. only thing is those fights would be hard to make since wilder don't take no risk.
