come on man, wlad and povetkin were 10 years past their primes and AJ still struggled and nearly lost to both of them, Parker was not even allowed to fight by the reff that was a complete farce, IMO he is a manufactured hype job that would of NEVER been champion had Tyson not gone on a ******* binge, he will get knocked out again by the doughboy in the rematch and retire.

for me the fight is just not so big, you already know what's going to happen, he has no head movement,Wilder's going to connect and put him to sleep

I mean I see where you're coming from, but AJ is no where near being the level of Pacquiao/DLH/Tyson etc. come on bruh...

Guys like DLH/Pac they are big enough mainstream attractions to be able to get KTFO and still be in huge PPVs after, AJ isn't even well known to casuals...

B- Troll thread. You not being honest with yourself. Would people still watch the fight? Of course but the reality is that fight has lost major money.

Props to the OP. Wilder vs Joshua will still be a huge fight once AJ avenges his Ruiz loss, which WILL happen. The storyline will be overcoming defeat and adversity like all great champions do blah blah blah. If anything the fight will be BIGGER..

Dude the fight is dead on USA PPV this was AJ introduced to the American market and the aesthetics of him getting beat up all over the ring by a guy that looks like Ruiz kills it for the casual fans (look at SM reactions)

Wilder vs Fury 2 is the only fight that can be financial success on USA ppv right now or in the immediate future

He's not that far off from them. He's the biggest PPV seller in UK history & he's like #7 in the world. And 3 of the 6 guys above him are the guys you just listed & 2 of the other 3 are Floyd & Holyfield who I also mentioned. Joshua is a pretty big name in boxing. If he's as good as those other guys is a whole other thing, but his popularity isn't far off from their's & ultimately popularity sells PPV more than talent.

people wanted to watch the fight not because of the '0' although that plays a big part these days, it was because it was supposed to be a genuine 50/50 huge fight where whoever landed first would win.

Now its not who lands first, its which round will AJ get completely ironed out in? if people think its still as big a fight then they are mad.
