I think he meant that he felt like running when he won.

Is Ruiz a one hit wonder like Douglas was ? Maybe. Rematch clause is difference here as Tyson didn't have one for Douglas. Joshua can get a decision win in UK if he just lasts to the final bell. But I hope Ruiz knocks him again

I was the only person on here backing Ruiz from the beginning as I recall or thought. I guess I just never saw your posts. That's quite a prediction. I wasn't picking rds just always believed Ruiz was underrated boxer with very solid skills. Never saw him hurt before AJ so was surprised everyone and I mean everyone was saying Ruiz was going to get knock out! Why? he was never even down before or tagged much. Won his last fight easy with KO win, did he even get hit with anything. Fighting just 40 day before AJ was a benefit. I listened closely to what AJ was saying before the fight and felt he was drinking the kool aid Just something he said and the way he said it but more Andys boxing skills. Kinda kool AJ took a nice Hawaiian Punch from a big Mexican. Ruiz had the eye of the tiger like Williams did against Hurd. Boom! Evander Holyfield opened as a 42-1 underdog against Tyson. Yet I had Holyfield in that one and predicted Holyfield would deck Tyson. Real fans don't drink kool aid not good for ya.

Don't think Mike wanted the rematch. Douglas Was decent fighter boxer puncher. He had already lost 3-4 times before he fought Tyson in 1990 was stopped in 11 against Tucker, think he was winning till he quite on his stool. He go $30M to fight Holyfield right after the Tyson fight. Was a huge favorite in that fight. Came in way overweight and lost bad KO 3 to a prime Holyfield. Andy better than Buster more focused better defense. seems like he got a lot left in the tank. Buster dint fight for 6 years after Holyfield KOed him. Nah this is totally different I believe, yet one never knows do 1. Tyson went to jail in 92 Douglas hadn't fought since his loss to EH so the man to beat was Holyfield not Tyson or Buster. Ruiz is in a similar situation having quality options as Wilder is under the same management and presents a huge payday and opportunity for further stardom.

True, some people believe that's what pulled him thru that fight got dropped hard out of now where with big upper cut but got up and put Tyson away a couple rds later.
