Cuts the ring off like no other, works the body like no other, he hits fast and hard for somebody with his style, he has great recovery rate and his chin is good too.
Only downfall is the soft skin above his eyes.
Good point, maybe PBF will just let him get close cutting the ring, land those body shots, not make him pay, and not pump that jab in his face all night and use his superior speed and boxing ability. As far as Hatton's stamina, I don't think anybody can argue that. Chin? I think Mayweather has more power than Collazo at 147 or 140, we saw what Collazo could do against Hatton.
fighters ultimately get judged on there last fight by the majority and Hatton was poor in his...so thats basically why there is a little less nuthugging going on for now.
That and Joe C producing one of the greatest ever performances by a british boxer against Jeff Lacy.
hattons boxin skills are over rated not under rated, when people say hatton looked like duran against magee i just lmao, i downloaded that fight the other day just 2 remind me that magee was counterin him 2 pieces & hatton could'nt do anythin with him. if magee did'nt keep runnin out of steam he would of won every round

Yeah and now all the Brits think they all of their fighters are hot ****, and is the greatest boxing nation in the world... when ****ing... Michigan alone has produced better boxers than the entire continent of Europe.
Hatton ususally weighs close to 160lbs after he weighs in at 140 & that gives him a huge size advantage over the Jr Welters. But when he moved to Welter Collazo exposed Hatton as ordinary in the division & Collazo isn't even an elite fighter. Hatton is a solid fighter just not great & better suited for Jr. Welter.
Many of you have critisized (many brits i can tell) my opinion on Hatton moving to 147. And this post right here basically sums it up. Many of you have every excuse in the world as to why he looked so bad, the fact is, when he couldnt just bully a guy around, he had problems, period. There is no research involved, there is no extra cirrcicular reasoning for this, HE LOOKED BAD. I dont care what the reason was, he moved up ONE weight class and looked like total ****. How is it that guys who start at 135 can move up to 147 without the problems and lackluster showing that Hatton had?
Of course i expected the negative Karma from Anorak as he loves to give it out but i dont give a ****, its not hard to see that at 147, Hatton looked like ****, and would probably look that way again, this to me says something about his conditioning, i dont care what the excuses are, most people show issues moving up 2 or 3 weight classes, while he showed problems moving up ONE. Thats weak.
For alot of you brits i know these reasons will not be enough for you, but its obvious to everyone else. I dont think Hatton is a ****ty fighter, i just think his style is just based on being stronger than someone else, and when he encounters someone who isnt gonna just take his **** and fold, hes got problems.

You don't GET IT, do you?
For a start, if getting bad K off me doesn't bother you, then why bring it up at all??? And why bring "Brits" into it? Because American fans are never biased, are they? Oh no. Maybe it's all this "anti-Brit" crap that makes Brits who don't even like Hatton respond.
But I have to respond to ignorance and your "fact" that he looked bad because he couldn't bully Collazo around is just horse****, frankly.
READ what I say and try to take it in, rather than just repeating yourself. What I'm saying is this:
Hatton has had ONE fight at 147, so ideally we'd have to see another at the weight to properly ascertain whether it was a bad night, or a real issue. To judge his effectiveness at the weight after ONE performance has no validity, because the following could play a factor:
* The sudden muscle gain making him sluggish.
* His inability to cope with the southpaw style.
If Hatton has another fight at 147 and looks ****, I'll say you've got a point. If, however, he fights a conventional fighter at 147 and looks faster and does the job looking like a million dollars your thread will look like a piece of bull****. Do you comprehend this incredibly simple point I'm making?
