That Collazo fight showed me that Hatton cant take on anyone he cant try to push around and bully, or anyone who can actually take him on, on the inside.

How did you think the immediate step up in weight/Collazo's southpaw stance factored into this?

I don't even like Hatton, but there's so much bull**** talked about him on here it's untrue.

I dont care what the reason is, he couldnt bully Collazo around and he had problems.

Collazo is an inch taller and isnt stronger if your talking about punching power.

I would love to see that fight! Hatton would never give Tony a chance. THat would be an all out war but Margarito too big , too strong.

I seriously doubt Collazo is stronger than Floyd in terms of punching power, even at 147.

Hatton is a 140 lb fighter. He should not be moving up to 147. I don't see anyone beating Hatton at his natural weight of 140, and that includes Mayweather. At 147, I see Mayweather winning a decision. Hatton's smaller frame just doesn't carry that extra weight, whereas Floyd's larger frame has filled into welter very nicely.

Let's not forget that Hatton took on about as tough a guy to move up in weight against as you can imagine. A slick southpaw who is naturally bigger than him- a guy who has fought many fights above welter and at 154. So you really had a Jr Welter fighting a Jr Middle, essentially. And Hatton still won, even though he did look sluggish with the extra weight.

This is worse than saying Jones Jr was at his best in the first Tarver fight. Much, infact.

And it has nothing to do with any southpaw stance, Hatton has handled southpaws in textbook style all his life.
