I never fully bought into the “passing the torch” thing. Wlad screwed it up against Fury. However, it was an amazing fight of two specimens. Now, AJ and Wilder also screwed it up, as it could have been something very special.

I hope Wilder loses to Ortiz, and Fury loses to that German guy - so we can forget about this whole 3 dragon monster thing and demands of billions before any fight happens.

Well Joshuas career is just starting. Where the hell was Klitschko at 29 years old? Use your brain before u open ur mouth.

Hope is for the dreamer. Wilder is not losing, Ortiz might have the skill advantage, but just like the first one it ends with Wilder knocking him out. Sooner at that let me not forget that part, Fury just isn't losing takes special prime time fighters to compete with them.

Not convinced AJ can improve as Wlad did in the later part of his career. We will see.

I haven’t said it is likely. I fully expect them both to win and win well. I am just annoyed that Wilder/AJ hasn’t happened before this fiasco. It would have been an amazing build up and would increase the whole sport.

I don’t see any future fights that would have such huge potential. We might need to wait another generation or two before we have anything similar.

I can't quote that other guy because he blocked me but lol @ his "AJ is just starting" talk.
People not well acquainted with the sport try to measure careers in years. Boxing doesn't work that way. Sometimes, all it takes is an event. Not even a physical one, just an emotional event, to crack a fighter for good.

Wlad had actual boxing skills. It's ridiculous and disrespectful comparing him to a crap boxer like AJ.

If he wasn’t a naturally muscular guy he wouldn’t be able to actually have the muscle in the 1st place...

I think he had to spend much more time getting to this size than Wlad did. Wilder could have been just as muscular IMO, but I don’t think it would be for his benefit.

I would like to see AJ at 235-240 and keep it there.

I understand your annoyance, but AJ never truly showed any real desire to get that fight going. Eddie Hearn either just talked **** and kept going, Tyson Fury took the initiative and arguably won the fight hence we have pt2, but I can't call that one just yet.

I highly doubt that next generation deal. They both have To keep winning though and make the fight 50/50 pay wise and jump it before someone loses.
