    How screwed is Matchroom?

Just how much damage does the Ruiz catastrophe do to Matchroom?

Very little in my opinion. Huge exposure and they have expanded there base quite a lot in last few years. Joshua is still big for now, and his rematch will be hugely anticipated now

All he had were UK fans and they don't get bothered by losers. As evidenced by the fan responses here. As evidenced by the fact that Brook and Khan could probably still sell out an arena. AJ and Matchroom will be fine as their fanbase is theirs. This "breaking through in America" stuff though, she's over.

They take a hit from this no doubt. The PBC has all 4 heavyweight titles, for now at least, and a crack at AJ was a major bargaining chip for signing heavyweights.

I heard from a reliable source that AJ's next fight will be on a Tevin Farmer undercard.

In the US a lot. Joshua was their one seemingly giant bowling ball of a potential superstar in the US with the right moves. And bam in one US fight he's knocked off & the first look many US fans have of Joshua is him getting clobbered around the ring by a fat mfer. Its probably the worst thing to happen to Matchroom USA & Matchroom USA has been one f#ck up after another just about.

Matchroom UK is fine doe. Joshua can box the next 5 years in the UK vs farmboys & soccer hooligans & sell out in numbers that would make Carl Froch stfu about his 80k fans & retire damn near a billionaire probably.

I also think this was a hit to DAZN. No one cares about Ruiz realllllllllllly & Joshua was their 2nd biggest potential draw by a mile.

Not at all if AJ wins the rematch. But that's an if.
