I'm a fan of Wilder bro. Dont get it twisted. But with Wilder style he's not a defensive fighter. One of these hungry lions might give Wilder that work. My point is, be humble and keep it moving.

Who you talking to? Lol I was answering your question. You are right but you have to closely watch his fights. He is a very defensive fighter when called for. He slips many punches.

The only time it appears he needs to be careful is when he comes attacking. However to counter his attack you must be willing to throw when he does. Many have tried and the result has been pure, jaw dropping KOs.

Watch the Breazeale KO again. Casuals who don’t pay attention to the intricacies of boxing or are simply fan bois trying to diminish Wilder’s wins were the first to call Breazeale trash claiming he just simply walked into Wilder’s right. That was farthest from the case.

As Wilder was coming in he set him up with a perfect jab and attempting to time Wilder and expecting a right to follow Breazeale was throwing a left hook. The problem is not only is Wilder fast but one of the hardest one punch HWs of all time. His right connected first and the rest is history.

Joshua didn't quit, his legs quit. You could see at the end he tried moving off the ropes and his legs were too wobbly to support any claim to the referee that he could continue, so he went back to the ropes and the ref made the right call as a result.

Yep that's what I saw as well...his legs looked done pretty early imo...and especially after the KDs he just looked done. Good analysis.

It is interesting reading a good portion of comments on Facebook and on other boxing sites on how Widler is "somehow responsible" for what happened to AJ because he did not take the 3 fight 100 million dollar deal from DAZN. While some fans put the emphasis on the possible money Wilder could have made by signing to DAZN, other fans like myself, and Wilder himself put emphasis on the multi fight deal that came with it. Wilder's camp did say that turning down the deal had to do with what AJ was going to make, but i don't believe that was the totality of why he rejected the deal. Wilder has stated multiple times that he didn't want to be caught up in mutli fight deals which the reason he also turned down ESPN deal. Wilder was banking on getting those fights (Fury and AJ) without signing those deals. He was right at least about the Fury fight as it will be joint venture between Showtime and ESPN. So let's look at what happened after last night had Wilder signed to DAZN.

1) Wilder fights Brezeale while AJ fights Ruiz. And because AJ lost and there is a rematch clause in the contract, that delays the Widler/AJ match.

2) Wilder was NOT going to idle and he would have looked for another match. Ruiz now has the RIGHT to request a voluntary defense of one of this three or all three titles before re engaging with AJ. If the rematch clause stipulates that the "fight must take place immediately" then AJ/Ruiz must do it again right away. Check your local boxing insiders for that info. But Ruiz is granted his request, that's two fights into the deal and. STILL NO AJ. And keep in mind, Ruiz could lose his "voluntary" match which would just make things even uglier.

3) But let's say Ruiz wins his voluntary match, and then he fights AJ again, Wilder would be in the 3rd fight of his contract. AND STILL NO AJ!! And if AJ beats Ruiz, he would have to fave IBF mandatory in Pulev. 3 fights AND STILL NO AJ.

4) The 40 million the DAZN said Wilder would get was based upon fighting AJ. I dont know if that if the contracts states that Wilders money would be lowered if he didnt face AJ. Again, check with your boxing insiders. But rest assure, Wilder would have gotten his guaranteed money but no AJ fight....WHICH IS He wanted WITH the big money.

Man.. I cannot remember a boxer whose legs would be so quick to betray him after a punch. Looking back at his fights, every time he was caught with a decent punch, his legs would wobble really bad and take a few rounds to recover. Either way, Joshua looked gassed after 1 round. That's unacceptable for a champion

To be fair he got hit on the side of the head by a heavyweight and after that he never recovered, his coordination was ***ed from that point on... yeah, but he was poorly condition too

If it was in the contract then you are certainly correct. I kept hearing rematch clause but didn’t hear that it was definitely in the contract. You I know, I know they are almost always there...trust but verify 😉

Wilder has the right to talk. He's been ridiculed and been cyber bullied by Joshua's fan base since his fight with Fury.
