Comments Thread For: Wilder: F*** The Money; I'm Most Mad Because Joshua Quit!

Deontay Wilder's biggest payday disappeared when Andy Ruiz Jr. upset Anthony Joshua on Saturday night. That's not even what bothered Wilder the most about Joshua's stunning seventh-round, technical-knockout loss at Madison Square Garden. Wilder was most angry about his perception that Joshua "f***ing quit" after Ruiz knocked him down for the second time in the seventh round and the fourth time overall.

Joshua didn't quit, his legs quit. You could see at the end he tried moving off the ropes and his legs were too wobbly to support any claim to the referee that he could continue, so he went back to the ropes and the ref made the right call as a result.

The only solace pro-UK fans can take is that Wilder lost something in some way. They're like drowning ****, they will claw onto anything they can and take it down with them.

Man.. I cannot remember a boxer whose legs would be so quick to betray him after a punch. Looking back at his fights, every time he was caught with a decent punch, his legs would wobble really bad and take a few rounds to recover. Either way, Joshua looked gassed after 1 round. That's unacceptable for a champion

Wilder lets his self down ,always ...Joshua was done from r.3.Fazed,senses scrabbled ...clueless from there on. And Wilder would have hurt him much more. It's going to be hard for Joshua to rebuild from this but at least unlike Wilder, hammered by Fury he admits he was beaten by the better man.I now hope old Ortiz hammer's him.
