If Joshua was a “HypeJob” why didn’t Wilder accept $100million+?

He's not a hype-job, at least not in the current era of heavyweights. He made a mistake after catching Ruiz. I think Joshua genuinely underestimated Ruiz and from the rumours going round, Joshua was bashed up in sparring and might have already been concussed.

In any case, poor planning and management, needs to spend less time trying to build his profile and more time improving his boxing

Just some bad luck and bad advising from Wilders camp. With DAZN money, he could have possibly had a canelo contract after smashing Joshua 2x and then a life and death battle in a Fury trilogy.

          Who knows.

Still, with the money that he got for the Breazeale fight, Wilder-Ortiz 2 being on PPV (likely with Wilder getting 80%-85% of the pot), and Wilder-Fury 2 also being on PPV (Wilder may end up north of 50%), Wilder is likely seeing that money anyway

He didnt accept the offer cuz Wilder never wanted that fight. You want the fight you make the fight. Ruiz wanted the fight, Ruiz made the fight, Ruiz fought the fight and Ruiz won the fight. And he got his career high pay day too. Thats how you gamble on yourself and look at him now.

Had Wilder took the fight, took the 60-40, fought the fight, won the fight, and got a career high pay day doing it. Look where he would be now. But he didnt and even though his fans are ecstatic at Joshua's loss they seem to forget that Wilder didnt beat him Ruiz did.

Exactly right, all this talk of ******** on yourself, this is how you gamble on yourself. Whyte & Ortiz should also take a lesson from the mighty Mexican unified HW champ.

If he was bashed up from sparring with Daniel Dubois and David Price, then he’s a hype job

And GGG was dropped in sparring by some guy called Hendrix...

Wilder said AJ was a “fake Champion,” therefore, why didn’t he just take any and all offers have been Undisputed since 2 years ago?

Wilder knows all mgmt won’t acknowledge a once $100 mil narrative.

Wait until Wilder loses to Fury or Ortiz and leaves Finkel. Willing to bet Wilder will say he was advised to make some bad business moves...
