I'm not so sure he has enough time to do it by the end of the year though

a man getting dropped 4 times is not a fluke, that's not how "flukes" work

I don’t think so either. I thought AJ would beat Ruiz, but after last night. I think Ruiz just has his number. Ruiz was better in every department from the start.

I remember saying that Rungvisai would beat Chocolatito in the rematch. I know their first fight was close, so it’s a different scenario to this one. But people were saying Chocolatito would win the rematch but i just didn’t think so. I was watching thinking that i thought Rungvisai might just have the measure of him and make it count in the next one.

I get a similar feeling with this one.

There’s certain fights you watch when you know that every time they fight, it’s just going to be similar.

Rematch could look like Wlad-Peter I but don't expect a destruction.

Ruiz is faster than AJ and showed better timing, if the rematch is gonna be different he needs to be picked apart not steamrolled.

I don't see how AJ can win the rematch. There's no one like Manny Steward around that can help the guy finesse his skills.

I give Joshua a punchers chance only in the rematch, he just can't cope with the pressure from Ruiz. The speed, punch volume and angles are too much for him to deal with. I also think his chin is more glass than granite. Joshua looked horrible beyond words in that fight, like a novice.

AJ was CLEARLY trying to go for the knockout to impress after wilders first round knockout!

AJ will be more careful in the rematch, won’t rush in once he’s knocked Ruiz down, take his time, break him down and win easily.
                You hope.

You do realize Ruiz and his team, have the tape, the win, the belts and confidence to win a rematch.

AJ really needs to take a long look in the mirror and the people surrounding him if this is the direction he wants to go in life.

The endgame for him is Wilder and Fury, and if THAT'S the AJ we'll get for those two. The man will end up with brain damage.

Time to squash the US vs UK boxing fans beef

                  Let's get back to boxing.

                  It's over now.

Probably but even if he did, hard to see him surviving against Wilder unless he blasts him out early.

                      Ruiz dominated him.

AJ backpedaling all night like a little girl.
