He needs to develop a stiff jab and fight behind his jab.

Regardless, something was off about the whole show. Americans are very corrupt and this was Eddie Hearn’s coming out party and something sinister happened to **** the whole **** up. Apart from Buatsi and Callum Smith who fought overmatched opponents, something was off about everyone else. What happened?

Adam Booth also said something didn’t feel alright.

he lost!! No but really i think he has a good 50/50 chance at winning rematch if watches that right hand jab off back foot.
Also the body shots really slowed him down if Ruiz able to touch him down stairs a lot AJ might lose again his stamina isnt world lvl and now Ruiz knows that.

An if wins the rematch i truly think Deontay Wilder is going to KO him out cold! Or Fury going to make miss 12 rds and counter him all night.

Ruiz literally fought a month and a ago before last night. Let that sink in for a minute.

AJ had no time to prepare? How about Ruiz not preparing for AJ either AND he just had a fight?

AJ has always been chinny. Always had bad stamina. Bad ring IQ because this isn't the first time he punched himself out and got dropped for it.

I do think there's a strong chance AJ wins the rematch but these fantasy land clowns need to accept that nothing last night was a fluke. AJ got exposed.
Yep. Anyone else feel like this is bad for boxing?

Ruiz was returning fire from the get go when hit.

He deserved to land that shot. The balls on him.

McCracken knew what’s up after round 1. Don’t throw any hooks.

Think the posters right he showed bad ring IQ. At one stage it was like he wanted McCracken to fight for him mentally.

              Surprised me.

AJ thought his way through the fights against Wlad and Pov.

              Tricky.

Sh.it or bust for AJ now.

If AJ wins the rematch it will be fighting like he did against Parker, avoiding any in fighting, slowing the pace down drastically and keeping the fight at distance. Which, if it gets him the win, great, but it won't do anything to answer the questions that are being asked of him now. I mean is there anybody left that thinks his chin has a chance of holding up against someone like Wilder? It's damn hard to survive in the HW division once your flaws have been exposed

Yep, becoming Wlad 2.0 is his only hope really at this point. I guess there's hope, cuz I never thought Wlad would come back after the Sanders and Brewster losses

Ruiz also had no time to prep for AJ. I agree that AJ wins the rematch but itīs not gonna be a walk in the park for AJ because both fighters will be at their best.
