I have several homies like Ruiz who is pretty much 1.5 generation from Mexico, speak fluent english and all but they consider themselves straight up Mexican..

Gtfo here with all that Ruiz is American bullsht. It would best to ask Ruiz himself what he represents. For political reasons, he might claim Mexican-American but at home right now, he is partying it up with his family and friends and they are doing it like Mexicans.

Ya think fernando Vargas and the Garcias in Oxnard are american too? Lol They are Mexican through nd through. Doesnt fkin matter where they were born.

I lived in America most of my life but when people ask me, I identify myself as Korean-Italian. I dont say yea Im American cuz im not.

I'm happy though because the ducking was getting real annoying. But Al Haymon is threatening to be the new Don King, having the two champions in Wilder and Ruiz jr. And those old enough know how that played out.
Iīm Mexican and knew who he was, dummy. Andy is not well-known with Mexican fans living in Mexico except for the hardcore fans (and yes, it was televised for free) because he grew up in the States but there are millions of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans and other Hispanics in the US that support him. You are either not American or live in North Dakota or some place like that.

His only good win is vs an old Klitchko who had already been embarrassed by Fury. Joshua SUCKS, I doubt he will even beat Whyte in a rematch.

Wilder on the other hand, while not the best boxer, knows how to use his reach and will knock people out even if they are blocking the shots. He's not going to go in there and fall in with hooks like Joshua did. Ruiz would not get through Wilder's right hands like he did Joshua.
Shut the fucc up punk! I don't like AJ anymore than I like you!
But biitches like you are quick to call someone a hype job after a loss or just cause you don't like them...
But what have you accomplished in life you piece of shet??
Nothing I'm sure! You're still a punk ass loser living in your momma's house!
So who's the hype job biitch???
          You punk ass coward!

I'm no AJ fan but Wilder's chin is suspect after that 7rd with Ortiz and getting staggered by Breazeale's punch when Breazeale was on the ropes. So don't count Ruiz out just yet.

Seems like America made him, not Mexico.

Seems like race is more important than nationality in the USA...
                Not surprising
Mexican is not a race, if you are not Mexican or Hispanic you wonīt understand. It doesnīt matter if he has trained in Mexico or not, he represe nts his people and the Americans too. And his family is from a border city were everyone from both sides of the border have roots, and most are MEXICAN.

A lot of people are having this ongoing debate of whether Ruiz is Mexican or American. To be politically correct, he is Mexican-American since he was born in the U.S. but his parents in Mexico.

                    Great fight btw.
Well put. He's made a lot of fans.

Of course, just like Afroamericans lose too to other races, duh. At least Mexicans come to fight unlike Blacks who think running, hugging and jabbing is being " slick " and are quite boring. You have to understand that boxing in the US market now has other races and ethnic groups like Asians, Eastern Europeans, Northern Europeans both White and Black, Latinos from other countries other than Mexico and Puerto Rico, etc. Donīt be jealous that you are not the face of boxing anymore. The Haglers, the Tysons, the Pryors, etc those were good but now the trend of Blacks is to be like Whitaker, Mayweather Jr, etc. Boring and nobody likes that.
