Junior's victory had nothing to do with Mexico.Even the Mexicans didn't know who he was when the fight was announced.He took advantage of a stiff, no rhythm,suspect chin,short on stamina body builder. Wilder on the other hand, while not the best boxer, knows how to use his reach and will knock people out even if they are blocking the shots. He's not going to go in there and fall in with hooks like Joshua did. Ruiz would not get through Wilder's right hands like he did Joshua.

Mexican is not a race, if you are not Mexican or Hispanic you wonīt understand. It doesnīt matter if he has trained in Mexico or not, he represe nts his people and the Americans too. And his family is from a border city were everyone from both sides of the border have roots, and most are MEXICAN.

A lot of people are having this ongoing debate of whether Ruiz is Mexican or American. To be politically correct, he is Mexican-American since he was born in the U.S. but his parents in Mexico.

Nothing but respect for Ruiz, he fought King Kong and after being hurt he went for it, something Mikey Garcia never did without ever being hurt.
