Drawing power won't decrease, it will actually increase now especially if he can stop Ruiz in an immediate rematch. Fighters showing vulnerability is sometimes great for building anticipation.
Boxingwise of course he got exposed big time, bad fundamentals, lack of head movement and defensive skills on the inside and a very suspect chin. One of the reasons why I never gave Ruiz a legit chance coming in was the fact that he never hurt anybody at the top level and didn't have an extraordinarily high KO ratio. Ruiz hurting and KOing Joshua was the only way he could beat Joshua and he did it. I was really surprised that Joshua's legs completely became like wet spaghettis after he got caught by Ruiz and it shows lack of chin imo.
Not so sure about the drawing power
He has many casual fans , and casual fans are their for the moment
Kind of like what have you done for me lately
Boxing wise he was exposed to the Max
Like I said earlier on , I thought he had more boxing skills and ring iq than what he showed tonite
Hey , who am I to judge , maybe he comes back and becomes the greatest champ of all time
I think not but you never knowComment

Obviously I'm not privy to the details of the contract for this fight, but when there's a rematch clause is it typical for the A-side to retain the right to control the venue, purse split and other such details? If not, it might not necessarily follow that the rematch will be in the UK.Comment

aj lost everything he had going for himself tonight. and to make it all worse he spit out his mouthpiece n gave upComment

I don't think Haymon is that vindictive or hostile.
But it should be fun to see how things work out if Ruiz can repeat his performance in a rematch & with how one sided it was I'm even wondering if Joshua will want a rematch in 6-7mos.Comment

Bend to what? Wilders demands? Joshua isn't even a champ right now. If he beats ruiz in a rematch what changes between between wilder and joshua?
I didn't see wilder dropping his demands when he didn't beat fury. Last night has changed alot but I'm not sure whose leverage over Joshua has changed other than maybe ruiz but ruiz signed a rematch clause so there's not much leveraging to be done there either.
I'm just trying to figure out what you meant by leverage.Comment
