I think most of us knew this was a live fight, and stylistically a bad match up for AJ.

But he was still favourite for good reason.

The only people calling Ruiz a dud where the Wilderettes discrediting him because they thought Joshua would win too.

I'll bet you're one of those guys who said the same thing about Klitschko, Povetkin, Parker etc... finally you get one right and you're on here to crow about it.

A lot of people had not seen Ruiz fight before yesterday. I hadnt and I am pretty into boxing compared to the general public.

15-20 years ago when my house had Showtime and HBO, plus ESPN, you pretty much got to watch every fight that came through, all the PPV replays with a few fights on their undercard. I would have heard of Ruiz back then....

But now with everything so fractured, I dont have that same visibility. I havent had HBO or showtime in years, I dont even have ESPN. I subscribed to DAZN recently because its a really good price, so I will finally be catching some of the less big fights. I got to see what Callum Smith looks like yesterday for example.

My track record speaks for itself. I ever saw Joshua as the champion and I thought that he fought too many old men. He wasn’t prepared for a prime guy with some skill. There was a reason he was ducking Wilder.

Joshua losing by TKO to someone who seemingly had no chance is not a shocker, but it is still a big upset. While Ruiz is skillful, so is Joshua. Let’s not call Joshua a no-skill bum now, he did win Gold in the Olympics himself and is a big, athletic boxer.

This comes down to taking a punch basically, he just can’t take too much punishment to the head. He’s like a big ol Amir Khan.

                    You’re looking at it
from a betting stand point. I’m looking at it from a skills stand point. Joshua wasn’t that good. I didn’t post the prediction here. I came to dish out crow. My post history speaks for itself.

You have to make people eat their words with your pre event words.

I don't see why experts not affiliated with the sport don't make that easy money on these under dogs.
