But Ruiz is an all together different fighter to Brezeale and needed to be broken down from the outside and treated with more respect as he's actually tough and not so easy to get rid of that soon in the fight.

From day one, Joshua has been steered clear of Wilder. I always said his number one ranking was an artificial one, built on second-tier and faded fighters. This Ruiz loss was a wake up call. Let's see how much he improves in the rematch, if he is so inclined...
