He got up 4 times , he was done , he lost to the better man on the day.
You're attempting to create a false narrative. That isn't what happened. Joshua mentally shut down after the first knockdown. Folded up.

You a real boxing fan or what?? You're supposed to despise that sort of behavior. If you're speaking as a Joshua fan or as a Brit STFU.

To me , he didn’t look like he wanted to continue especially after that long stare to his corner
To me he looks surprised with the stoppage. You could argue that if they let Fury continue then they could have let this go on a little longer...after all it's a championship fight and AJ was the champion.

Ruiz beat the fight out of him, you can't really call that quitting that is getting beat.

Now other men may have fought on and tried to endure more but very rarely does that work out and he didn't look like he even had any idea about pulling a rabbit out of a hat tonight.

Fury was at least doing well and him seeing the end of the fight could have meant a win (or as it was a draw) which is much better than just losing. So in a sporting regard he deserved a chance to make it work.

Joshua was unlikely to be in that sort of position if they let it go on, so if he isn't really going to turn it around to win or draw on the cards and 4 knockdowns makes that tough why let it go on.

After the Fury fight I was the first person on here saying “it’s not ten seconds it’s a discretionary ten count!”

That being said though, there were TWENTY FIVE SECONDS between Joshua’s knee touching the canvass, the count, the ref asking 10 times if he was okay, then finally waiving it off.

Twenty five seconds. Two and a half ten counts. During that time the ref told Joshua twice “turn around and face me” one time “this isn’t a break” and two times “can you continue”

              Twenty five seconds.

Michael Griffin is a great referee
I’m sure he saw something their
Your right though if we compare those two fights
I know one thing for sure , if the Wilder vs Fury fight was in the uk , a Uk ref would of called the fight

He wasn't responding with the command to come forward.

I agree 100% Ruiz was faster, more accurate and aggressive. He exposed all Joshuas flaws perfectly.

Ruiz is a very deserving Champ.
