He actually didn't quit. The ref asked him "Do you want to continue?" and he nodded and said yes. He was waiting for the mouthpiece I guess which never came because the ref waved him off and he said "what?" sounding and looking surprised. Honestly I'd have preferred to see how it would have played out but judging from AJ's reaction post fight interview he seemed OK with the ref's decision...so I think he was done.

Actually, the ref is supposed to wait for a lull in the action before calling a Time out for a gum shield. Robbie just doesn’t know **** about the sport.

Holyfield/Cooper they fought for half a round before they got their mouth pieces back in, because they kept throwing punches.

No he didn't quit. But you know what Americans are going to be about with AJ losing. It's like Christmas to them. They just want it to be worse than it was.

AJ threw on the inside with Ruiz in the 3rd round and got caught by the faster hook and went down. From then on it was an up and down affair. On the last KD, AJ went to the corner and was looking at the ref without any problems but he just called it. When you watch it you'll see. I was surprised when he did it.

Who knows if AJ could have come back or not. But he was really tired.

Gratz to Ruiz ,amazing win , can we stop calling Wladimir a little girl ? Or AJ for that matter ? Those are 250lbs trained killers throwing bombs to your head and body , you calling them names shows who you are on the inside, a little, a *****. I remember talking to Andy when he was trying to get out of that TR deal. They did nothing with him after that BS loss to Parker, and now PBC has all of the belts
