I'm kind of being the devil's advocate here. I really enjoyed this fight and couldn't be happier for Ruiz. I've never been an AJ fan and think this is great for the HW division and boxing in general. It's just that a small part of me is going...what if? Would Ruiz have had the stamina for late rounds? We will see what happens in the rematch...but Ruiz made me a fan tonight for sure.
later rounds? There was 2 minutes left in the 7th round!!

In fact, if Terry O'Connor had been there, it would have been AJ by third round TKO.
AJ wouldn't even follow the ref's commands after his KD's in the third round.

And Joshua had TWENTY FIVE SECONDS before the ref called it! (Though let's be real, Terry O'Connor would have given AJ 45 seconds, put his mouthguard back in for him, kissed him on the cheek and deducted 2 points from Ruiz for knocking out AJ's gumshield)

I dunno if I'd go as far as to say "manufactured", the guy can obviously fight a bit, and is obviously able to knock people the **** out.

But he has benefited at times, such as being ahead on the scorecards against Little Klit when I thought he was behind.

Yeah, AJ took the piss and paid the price. "WTF, ref? I made it up before your 25 count."

Terry is a true professional... his work in Cleverly vs. Kovalev round three was exemplary.

Since when is saying you want to continue quitting?

All the guys saying that he didn't react properly and that's why he quit is just fkn ridiculous. He was obviously out of it, he could even be concussed. That's why he didn't react properly. He said he wanted to continue. He didn't quit and you guys claiming he did because of body language is just bad taste. That was because he got hit with combinations to the head guys...

Well round 7 is pretty much the middle of he fight...does not qualify as late rounds energy.
