To me it is more evident that AJ's fights in the UK with the right ref gives him an advantage. The ref keeping Parker off of him, the early stoppage of Takam, even the Wlad fight could have went on.
One thing for sure, if there is a rematch, AJ will demand the fight is in the UK, and Hearn will make sure it is a ref they like.

Alot of people not giving Ruiz proper credit for the win. Not sure if that's because of his physique or what but Ruiz looked damn impressive in the ring. He survived that knockdown, kept his composure and was firing blistering counters in combinations whenever AJ threw punches. He took alot of solid shots too. In the 6th round he raked some absolutely vicious body punches that broke AJ's will.
Alot of people calling AJ a quitter but that's a lazy assessment. He had his opponent hurt, got sloppy and went in for the kill. He got caught and hurt badly. He got up from two knockdowns and was trying to get back in the fight when Ruiz hit him with those body shots. I think he was absolutely fatigued mentally and physically.

AJ was beaten and embarrassed end of. To know say it was because of his lack of raids takes away from Ruiz. He beat him fair and square and will probably beat him in the rematch too. Enjoy your Sunday roast.

This
Wrong.
Tyson lost to Holyfield & Lewis when he was far past his prime, after losing 3 years in prison.
AJ is nowhere near that.
Dude, Larry Holmes was 38 when he fought Tyson, Klitschko was 41 when he fought Joshua.
Larry Holmes beat Ray Mercer at 42 years old, so he wasn't done.
Klitschko got embarrassed by Fury and almost lost to Bryant Jennings, AND hadn't fought in almost 2 years when he fought & almost beat Joshua.
And hasn't fought since.
No, just no.
No, we don't agree on that.
Ortiz is the 2nd hardest puncher in the division after Wilder, which is why he was the "boogie man" in the division
Um, he did.
He knocked out Breazeale in 1 rd, when it took AJ 7
Dude, Ortiz never put Wilder down and got knocked out.
Ruiz knocked AJ down 4 times and he quit in the corner.
Yeah, where are all these clowns.
