Whyte may be telling the truth, but how does that help his case? He has worked his way back up, but after he was KOd himself. AJ is stateside hunting Wilder, I think. Dillon needs to widen his horizons.

Now the agenda dictates that it's cowardly to actually fight Ortiz.

As long as you don't take Boxing Scene too seriously, it's a pretty funny message board.

Whyte has a better resume and in all honesty deserves Wilder more than anyone not named Tyson Fury if he wants it.

But I find Ortiz way more entertaining, so I am not sorry at all we got the rematch over it.

I always enjoy when Whyte throws his comments into the mix regardless of whether or not I agree with him. There are always some bits of truth as well as some funny statements.

Someone made the comment that it appeared that Hearn was having a problem getting his fighters opponents but I think that generally true across the board for the big names.

That's why Wilder faced Breazeale and will be rematching Ortiz. The fight was entertaining and there were some compelling moments but Ortiz really hasn't done much other than that fight and the Jennings' win. Whyte has mopped up alot of the lower rung contenders (Browne, Parker, Chisora) but either doesn't want or can't get the fights at the price he wants. AJ was taking on Big Baby who really didn't have a great resume but that fell out and he's taking on another guy who will probably be overmatched. Fury is fighting a limited fighter.

There are only 3 top guys and then there are only a few guys that are a level down. The rest aren't there yet (Ajagba, Hrgovic, Hunter, etc.) so the top guys will fight relatively low risk, low reward fights until another top guy fight is made or another top guy emerges from the prospects and also-rans.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Hearn making offers to Ortiz to fight Joshua prior to Ruiz?
