What does him having to be big have anything to do with him and his chances at the title?
Ruiz is good but if he took the nutritional aspects of the game seriously he”d be much better. “Snickers” are a window into his heart, and his body is proof he eats too many of them. Joshua & Wilder is smart enough to know that diet plays a huge role in performance, and it’s why they’re both champions!

ruiz really has no excuses. he's had a ton of time to lose weight and he's consistently put it back on. he can't stay in the gym and train hard and gain weight when he's got so much to lose. that's just not how it works. he gained 10 lbs between his last two fights.
ruiz has only lost 35-40 lbs since his debut when he was genuinely obese and got away with just knowing how to box as a heavyweight in mexico. there is no way he beats joshua being 20 lbs + overweight. he's fighting on 4-5 weeks notice. on activity alone he loses.

SuperRuiz. Faster than Fat Dan at a 1/2 off buffet one hour before closing, t^tties more powerful than your average strip club employee, able to eat a medium pizza in a single bite.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of "bums" who remain low-ranked fighters. They are NOT willing to put in the hardwork required at this level of professional boxing. Yes, they mass-up but aren't ready to chisel their bodies. They do hit the gym and train but only before fights. Rest of the time, they are simply lazy and do not put in the efforts.
