He's a pro boxer who dedicates a big part of his life to boxing so he SHOULD be able to throw more punches than me. That doesn't change the fact that he's still FAT and that was the point.

I respect this dude. At least he has got some balls. he is not a coward like Whyte, Kownacki, Ortiz. He wants to fight the best.

He's fat and if he wasn't he'd be faster.

Ruiz is fat AF, but that is not a bad thing in the HW division IMO.

He can likely soak up body work and his hand speed will help him defensively as well.

Joshua still looks a bit chinny and also has a suspect gas tank.

Fair enough but I wish there were a different term. 👍

So was Big George in his career but he captured a world title not only being big but also being old. He then successfully defended it a few times. Good thing we don’t rate HW boxers by their body types because well we all know big boxers never win. I still fail to see your point. What does him having to be big have anything to do with him and his chances at the title?

Joshua will box at a distance. Infighting would be suicidal and foolish. Experience-wise, Ruiz has the edge. I will not be surprised if Joshua's head rolls.

Are you related to Ruiz or something? You seem to take this very personal. Ruiz said he was chubby and I simply said no, dude is FAT. Stop being so sensitive, it's not that serious. He used to be obese now he's just fat. Ruiz is a good fighter, nobody is denying that. He's a fat slob who can fight, happy now?

If you look at both fighters side by side in terms of speed, the comparison is hard to say who is faster. When Ruiz is throwing combinations, he looks quick but really lacks the power.

When Joshua he is actually going at full speed, its negligible but the power in every punch is phenomenal.

I still think Ruiz is going to be an awkward test for Joshua and might give him an early wake up call if Joshua starts slow (as he regularly does). Despite all the talk, Joshua should dominate the ring and get a KO inside 6, IMO.
