I think this will do similar numbers to Crawford/Khan less then 200K. When Crawford/Khan was first announced most weren't upset if Crawford couldn't get any of the top welterweights from PBC to fight him at least Khan seemed to be a entertaining fight on paper until Khan is knocked out. But once it was announced as PPV the perception changed. If Crawford/Khan was on ESPN fans could live with it but when you charging 70 bucks it became a bad fight on PPV. Same here in a bubble Ortiz is a legit top 10 Heavyweight and the first fight was entertaining. But the first fight was NOT PPV and had a decisive winner by knockout. Ortiz is now older, 40 years old, and not looked great in his fights since being knocked out. His chances of winning are worse then they were last time.
The only time Wilder was on PPV it only did 300K buys and that was a fight that the majority of fans didn't think he won. Instead of getting that rematch which was actually controversial and deserves a rematch or getting the Joshua we are getting stuck with this pointless rematch nobody asked for and they are demanding we now pay PPV 80 bucks for it when you didn't have to pay for the first fight? That's a hard sell.
