I'm talking about fighters that have all of the physical tools (height, reach and frame) to move up a division or two, but for years starve themselves to barely make the limit for the division they want to stay in.

It's up to them. It will eventually backfire and killing themselves to make weight will translate to performances in the ring. If they can make the weight though then I have no problem

Fully depends on whats going on in the division and the division above at the time. As long as they are not draining and crippling themselves to make that weight they can do what they want i suppose.

Yeah, it also bothers me when guys like that get credit for "moving up" when in reality they have simply stopped killing themselves making weight.

The fighter is the best judge of what weight class is best for them.

It's none of my business. If a fighter, like GGG for example, is dedicated enough to campaign at the same weight all their career, good for them. Who are we to tell anybody what to do?
