Nah ortiz is done. Wilder gets him out of there in 6 or less.

Whyte 2 would be a HUGE fight in the UK, but it still probably doesn't register much in the US. Usyk is really the only other fight out there that means something and that would only be to hardcore fans anyways and it also depends on how Usyk looks at HW.

Bad matchups for AJ are coming, there's really no way around it if he can't get the unification fight. So, if it's unavoidable I think the key becomes exciting performances. If you have to fight guys like Charr and Pulev you need to KO them in brutal fashion to keep the casuals aroused.
Joshua vs Whyte II is his best option

It'll end up being a joke of a fight because that's exactly what it is.

            It's unnecessary but it I don't see how it's a joke of a fight

Your thoughts here are nearly identical to mine. It's been my concern over a year now that there's at least a 50% chance that Wilder has "A-listed" his way out of ever getting THE payday.
I've contended that if he was really that confident he was hands down the BEST, he'd sign whatever contract was placed in front of him. Just go ahead and become "undisputed" right quick, so you can then write your ticket to the moon, man.

So, more so than 50% we never see AJ/Wilder, it's 50/50 that Wilder EVER sees THE payday. I believe he'll still get the fight having an L, just won't be as huge. Is he making sure it's set-for-life money before he takes a risk ?

How about this ? Maybe he IS thinking some type of legacy, and wants NINE/TEN more fights, ONLY against opponents he believes he will beat. Only HW to go out 50-0 ? He's never shown a hunger for Undisputed, has he ?

I dunno man, looking at all this forum content and media feedback, it just seems like a mess for true boxing fans. Guys on NSB follow all this tightly, and pretty much nobody appears satisfied, hopeful, fulfilled, or content about the HW situation.
Quite frankly, much of the immature and profane presumption and allegation that goes on, is downright embarrassing, deplorable, tasteless, and ridiculous. But that's just me. I know the anonymous nature of the internet makes people forget there's actual human beings typing, but damn. Or maybe I'm dealing with a different generation, I dunno.

I wish they would fight before one of them loses. That's all I can say. We'll wait and see. Peace.

LOL Wilder Ortiz 2. Nobody wants it, nobody went to the Breazeale fight. Considering they are desperately trying to turn Wilder in to some superstar they are certainly doing all the wrong things again. Wilders worth is crumbling. This duck of Anthony Joshua is ruining any new fame he had received.

So he can brag, his fans can brag about freezing AJ out and leaving AJ with no good fights to take but cant you see that people see Wilder as the ducker here? Any idea what AJ is going to say after the Ruiz fight??? Hes guna say "I WANT WILDER NEXT AND WILDER IS DUCKING ME". Wilder wasnt talking like that after the Breazeale fight. His repuation is getting crushed here and taking on Ortiz again instead is a TERRIBLE LOOK.

The numbers dont lie, Wilders numbers are DOWN. DOWN i say. You Wilder fangirls can mock AJ and make up weird lies but maybe you need to concentrate more on building Wilder up over trying to knock Joshua down. That fool is dying on his feet and Shirley (i died 3 years ago) Winkle is making Wilder look like a ****ing chicken just at a time where there was all this added interest in Deontay Wilder.

A bad time for you to look like a massive ducker is when you have just made a load of noise to grab their attention.

He already walked away and turned down 120 mill, foh. As for the wlad fight, at least AJ had the balls to fight him, foh. And aj vs breazeale was ajs 17th/18th fight? Foh son. If you're trying to compare, aj beat the dog sh.it out of Molina in 3 rounds, and Molina hurt wilder before Wilder ko'd him. Foh

Wilder could've fought parker, wlad etc. Instead he fought life and death with an unaccomplished old man in ortiz and got his ass outboxed and lost, according to everyone with half a brain, but was gifted a draw vs fat fury.
