Why am I here.....
To show how inconsequential it is to care about a no hopers fight footage vs even worse no hopers.

There's nothing remotely interesting about Rolls to make me watch him in ''action''.

You've just now seen him in action. After he gets decimated, you watching him and me not will in no way change the expectations and guaranteed outcome.

I figure if Rolls was on the under card of some other fight line up, you wouldn't even notice his name.

I had a dream about this fight. The headline read "In a shocker, Golovkin wins unanimous decision". Shocking that Rolls didn't get knocked the F out. I'm a Golovkin fan and this fight is pure crap. Where did you find footage of Rolls? The Rodgers Tv Network Youtube Channel? Lol.

I think that channel started auto-playing the last time I watched Leonard-Hearns/Hagler. The Russian embassy should throw you out!

Dude wtf lol...As I said I saw a highlight of Rolls on DAZN the other day and I thought 'he doesn't look that bad' and I did some research today since I was off work.

End of story. Not that big of a deal. Yet here you are lol.

And yes if something interests me I may just research it, especially the if the prevailing wisdom seems to be a little off.

This is what every person on this forum does if we're honest - if there is a talked about fight...but you don't really know one or two of the guys...you look into them.

I did the same sh.it for McGregor Mayweather...looked into the sparring footage etc to see if there was any type of chance there.

Dude obviously him facing a big name fighter is why he is getting talked about? I don't even know what your angle is here lol...would be the same situation as someone researching Fielding before Canelo.

I never heard of either guy before the fight was announced...makes perfect sense to research a guy like that who is getting a big fight and you don't know much/anything about

You are the epitome of a boxing fan because you watched a ''highlight'' vid of some previously unknown, soon to be ko victim and only because he's ''fighting'' a more known guy.

What did you think of Rolls when you checked him out btw?

I found the Rogers cards to be entertaining but nobody I watched on them stuck out in my mind as world class. I would liken it to a Broadway Boxing or something of that sort. This is not a marquee match-up. At this point in Golovkin's career, this kind of fight does nothing for him aside from the aforementioned comment by the politicians of boxing that this may help build Dazzin in Canada.

I mean I hope it's good and competetive as I do ALL fights. There's guys I like and follow and want to win, but I don't like mismatches. If this was a USA Tuesday Night Fights type deal, and Golovkin was gonna fight someone worthwhile in a month or 2, fine. But as his 1 or 2 fights for the year, it's a joke.

Like I said, I'm a Golovkin fan and I usually defend him but you can't say you only want the big fights/belts don't matter, and then fight this dude. You know how they say fighters don't get "up" for certain opponents and that they fight down to the level of said opponent? Well the fans don't get up for those fights either. This fight is pointless. What do you gain by justifying this fight other than maybe some "green K" if it's close lol.
