Don't make it like you're some boxing effectionado because you spent a few minutes getting to know some unknown geezer.

And don't make it that those who don't waste their time watching said unknown guy are less of a fight fan.

Ok, now I'm done. I'm not being rude if I don't reply.

I'm done but will bump this as Rolls is being carted off.
? fully expecting him to get KOd. Won't bother me a bit. I would think you would be concerned about bragging about how a guy sucks, then having to admit you've never seen him fight. You for some reason wear that like a badge of honor. But you do you

When you fight on Steve Claggett (or whoever's) undercard, how good are you? That's my real point here. How many people on here even know who Steve Claggett is lol. Don't make this out to be some kind of treat for the fight fans.

Ironically they seem to have a decent boxing scene there...nothing like we have here in Vegas but they seem to be able to put on a lot of home fights for their fighters. I guess they make some money there somehow

? I'm not at all - was just saying in my little research he seemed to be much better than a top 100 guy...was wondering if anyone else had any insights/footage into it.

But the only ones saying he really really sucks also admit they have never seen him fight. Weird thing to brag about but OK

I hope Rolls gets a shot at another top guy after GGG because I don't think he's that bad. Not getting into ratings but based on who he been in with he seems to be on the same level as Aleem, Korobov, even Charlo and that's not terrible.
I'd like to see him fight Fielding if he puts up a good performance against Golovkin. By good I mean he makes it past the third round.

At this point in Golovkin's career, this kind of fight does nothing for him aside from the aforementioned comment by the politicians of boxing that this may help build Dazzin in Canada.

I mean I hope it's good and competetive as I do ALL fights. There's guys I like and follow and want to win, but I don't like mismatches. If this was a USA Tuesday Night Fights type deal, and Golovkin was gonna fight someone worthwhile in a month or 2, fine. But as his 1 or 2 fights for the year, it's a joke.

Like I said, I'm a Golovkin fan and I usually defend him but you can't say you only want the big fights/belts don't matter, and then fight this dude. You know how they say fighters don't get "up" for certain opponents and that they fight down to the level of said opponent? Well the fans don't get up for those fights either. This fight is pointless. What do you gain by justifying this fight other than maybe some "green K" if it's close lol.
Dude not at all justifying it - would much rather see him in with Canelo again, or Andrade or Charlo. But I think with his deal with DAZN, with what they're paying him, there's just no way he has many more light touches after this fight.

As I said throughout this thread, at best Rolls has the proverbial puncher's chance which I would give to anyone. But the fight isn't going 10 rounds and Rolls has about a 5% chance of landing a lucky punch on a 37 year old GGG.

My only point in making the thread was to say in my 20-30 minutes of initial research into Rolls, he seemed better than the 100 ranking he was being given. Was wondering if anyone else had footage or insights into it.

But since this is BS most of the posters just get nasty so what can you do. Was hoping there was some hidden fight footage I hadn't seen etc.

Lol - I would like to see him in with GGG, and if he looks OK I would like to see him in with another lower tier guy at MW. Maybe Korobov or Aleem or someone like that.
