The offer only goes down if one messes up and in this case the risk of that was very minimal.
What you are saying makes no sense and I know you are not ****** enough or naive enough in boxing subjects to believe what you just said to me.

Originally posted by daggum View Postit makes no sense that wilders last fight just did worse than his previous two? thats just a fact. maybe more ghosts watched it? i'm not sure what you are saying. a bigger pie? yes if joshuas popularity goes up that makes any joshua fight bigger but that doesnt mean his opponent gets better parity. they get worse parity. this is how its always been. basically what you are saying is that the b-side should call the shots? why???
His value went up regardless, and Joshua fighting in the US even if on a marginal platform gives him some good exposure here which helps the fight grow.
The only way the value of either goes down is if one loses, Wilder already won so his value went up, we can debate how much but it didn't go down. Even if the offer stays the exact same for a Joshua fight (which to me is very unlikely because DAZN needs events badly and that fight is an event fight) it is not like he really lost anything other than if he would have made more against Breazeale.
What matters is what happens next when both are free not what happened before when things were not going to happen next anyway.
