i said the same thing before. if joshua does well wilder will only increase his demands cept thats not how it works. in order to gain parity with joshua he has to up his own popularity. joshuas popularity growing only gives joshua more leverage, not wilder. its mind bobbling. they keep saying things like the offers are only going up but there are no offers so im not sure what fantasy land they are living in. so now anytime someone ducks they can just say i'm waiting for better offers? is there a bigger fightre in the division than joshua that i dont know of? i mean ortiz is bigger but in a different way...

why would his value increase? did his ratings go up or down? did his ppv do well or poorly? did his ticket sales go up or down? how does your value go up when your numbers go down? you know the offer can also go down. not sure why you are saying he can do no worse than before. he just lost millions so he already is doing worse

As time passes and no one ****s up the fights builds bigger, that is not all Wilder but a bigger pie means more money for all. His value is not decreasing and his Q rating is only going up.


The offer only goes down if one messes up and in this case the risk of that was very minimal.

ok thats nice deflection but where are the better offers? do you want to see the fight or not? if so you should be mad at wilder for turning down 100 million. an amount he can not possibly make from any other source. pretending that he will mak more in some alternate reality is nice but it doesnt get the fight made.

It was a one round blow out against a weak opponent and it did just fine in the grand scheme of things with a spectacular highlight.

His value went up regardless, and Joshua fighting in the US even if on a marginal platform gives him some good exposure here which helps the fight grow.

The only way the value of either goes down is if one loses, Wilder already won so his value went up, we can debate how much but it didn't go down. Even if the offer stays the exact same for a Joshua fight (which to me is very unlikely because DAZN needs events badly and that fight is an event fight) it is not like he really lost anything other than if he would have made more against Breazeale.

What matters is what happens next when both are free not what happened before when things were not going to happen next anyway.
