Comments Thread For: Joshua: It's Baffling Why Wilder Rejected DAZN Deal To Face Me

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua believes that his two division rivals, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, have their best chance to beat him right now - because he says it won't get any easier down the line. Joshua, 29-years-old, says his career will continue for quite some time - while he views Wilder and Fury as already reaching their primes.

Because networks can't guarantee the fight like how GGG is not guaranteed Canelo fight?

Maybe he doesn't want to be tied up with a long-term contact with ESPN or DAZN

Shouldn't be baffling when a flat fee deal is rejected. Was it baffling to AJ when he rejected a flat fee offer of $50M for the fight? Why have Fury and Wilder fought each other, but AJ is on the outside looking in? If Hearn offers a split revenue deal, this fight gets done.

Wilder doesn't want the fight even if offered 50/50, he's already confirmed this. Wilder is clearly ducking. There shouldn't even be a discussion just the ridiculing of bird legs.

Simply it's fear. Fury without power can hit him, imagine what a boxer with power like Joshua would do to him.

Hearn offered 60/40 earlier this year. Wilder ignored it.

Wilder couldn't sell 7k tickets for his fight and got less viewers than the Stiverne fight. There's much better ways to promote the fight over mentioning this nobody.
