Wlad was in two different camp training for fury's rematch that fury wasn't man enough to engage. The young lion was there to defend the British fans despite his short experience in pro fights.
Your paper champ at fight 33 was declared a baby not ready for the work..
All these are facts.
Go drink some beer, you are tired.

Hence s.hitting on your king of the division claims.
Ability to sell tickets has nothing to do with being the best. Which is how Oscar became the cash cow of his era, while never being the best fight. And losing a good number of his biggest fights.
Josh went toe to toe with a a highly motivated Wladmir in the best heavyweight bout in a decade and sent him into retirement. That's the difference.
When you also compare their resumes, it's not even close. The biggest name on Fury's resume, apart from Wladmir and Wilder, is Chisora twice (he lost to McDermott in the first fight). He's not the king of the division. He doesn't even have any belts. What type of king wears no crown, lol?

As for belts, IDGAF about belts. IMO both of the current trinket holders at heavyweight are paper champions. AJ is holding belts that Fury was stripped of due to inactivity because of things not boxing related. Not AJ’s fault. But Fury is back active and until someone beats him. He has as good a claim as anyone to the legitimate heavyweight title. Wilder is holding a belt vacated by Wladimir’s big brother. Personally, while they were both active, I considered Vitali the real heavyweight champion over his little bro and the rest of the division. But when he retired, Wladimir clearly took over the division. Personally, I think Wilder, Fury, or AJ needs to beat the other two to be considered the “king of the heavyweights.” But that’s coming from a completely non-fanboy POV.

The white kid went the distance with the 65th ranked boxer Pianeta.
