What actually happened was that Wilder started talking smack about what he would do if he attended the fight. Hearn warned him that the BBBoC have very strict rules about who is allowed to enter the ring after a fight, and if Wilder tried to climb in without being invited he would be stopped by security.

That was true. The rules were introduced as a safety measure after the Chris Eubank/Michael Watson fight.

The whole thing then got blown out of proportion, with Wilder using it as an excuse for not attending and his fans spouting nonsense about Hearn having a restraining order put on him.

You keep talking about Hearn and aj but you don’t want to acknowledge this offer he turned down. That tells me you’re a fanboy.
Did you read the actual offer? Of course not. Your going by the spin that was put on it. Hearn wanted to control Wilder knowing that A.J is a vulnerable stiff. Wilder wasn't having it!

WBC has been exposed for using the VADA thing as a coverup but the body doesn't test the boxers.

Wilder uses steroids for his hands and endurance. He's going to wait till he's about to retire before he takes the Josh fight.

No he hasn't. Provide your proof. Tickets given away are noted, Wilder gives away thousands. Joshua-Ruiz will fight in front of a massive paying audience and take a gate many times larger than Wilders. Wilder is the B-side in his own damn country.

Matchroom releases tickets on launch day. Of the 80,000 seat arena they launch with 65,000 tickets on release of which 25,000 through ticketmaster on true general sale. They directly sell 40,000 to stubhub (which are registered as sales). Matchroom can then say it’s nearly sold out within a week to help drive sales and buzz. They then agree for selling to stubhub such a large number at face value or likely discounted they split the profit over face value 50/50. Stubhub acts as a ticket seller like the fighters do and Matchroom makes larger profits and announce that the tickets are flying out to drive traffic to stubhub. Once they are sold Matchroom releases the final 15,000 tickets. There is no record of how many tickets are sold through which means. Matchroom needs to sell the ticket and have profit margins built in a similar way as when they pay fighters to sell tickets.

Wow, you really are an idiot! Hearn and Matchroom have been doing this forever. Why is this so shocking? This practice has been going on in the music industry for years.

Show the proof for your claim then. Are you just throwing around accusations without any proof?

                  • Wilder has a master and his master told him that he can't go to MSG.
