Yes, since he's getting a percentage of the PPV.

It would do at least 300,000 buys.

i dont know i dont have a time machine but 300k still isnt much especially when wilders guaranteed purse is going to be huge meaning the points wont kick in until the ppv number is very high, and even when it does kick in ortiz and wilder still are splitting that revenue and probably in unequal fashion. it looks like a way to rob ortiz similar to how ward robbed kovalev in the rematch or hopkins robbed jones in the rematch. oh you will get the ppv money....oh there was none oh wellll

Trust me, Al would come up with something. He always does in order to keep his clients happy, satisfied and loyal. Team Ortiz didn't turn down AJ for nothing. They were promised something better.

Imagine being the guy who got KTFO and making 10x the purse in the rematch . Showtime is run by a bunch of imbeciles lol.

If you notice with these PBC Deontay Ruiz nut cases they are happy with Haymons smaller fees but call career high money lowball offers. Career high and lowball seem to fit nicely together for these idiots.

Look at the Farmer v Tank Davis thing. DAZN made an offer a while ago for about 5 million a piece for the fight. The PBC have just responded to that with a counter offer of LESS THAN HALF what DAZN offered and are now calling Farmer a duck for not taking it. For not taking less than half of what DAZN want to pay him for the same fight.

Thats why they told Wilder to turn down 120 million cuz the fights make more on Showtime PPV but never actually bothered to make a better counter offer. They just walked away and carried on paying Wilder less money fighting other fighters than the ones the world wants.

They a ***in straight up joke these PBC goons.

Which is composed of Haymon, Espinoza, Finkel and another co-manager.
The single-most typed words on this forum in the last few weeks are “if Ruiz didn’t like the rematch clause terms, he shouldn’t have signed the contract.”

Yet Ortiz didn’t sign the contract ... perhaps he finds the terms of the OVERALL DEAL offered to fight Wilder to be in his interests over what Eddie was offering.
