He'll get all around physically stronger and gain more experience but the brute strength just isn't there imo.
Skills pays the bills not just power.

What a coincidence that you don't want him to fight anyone "dangerous."

Also, I don't think Haney means people like Abdualev as a target of his messages. You said yourself '...to fight against Loma' meaning those who to his own words allegedly can beat him now.

That's right to a certain extent. With Haney's build he'll def be at 140 if not 147 as the years go on. So he's going to need to have some sting on those punches when he starts moving up and mixing it up with the heavier guys.

As much as I love Floyd the talent level of the contenders when he was at the pinnacle wasn't where it is now so he benefited not only from his immense talent, but the fact that a lot of his fights came against guys that either weren't as athletic as him, over the hill or not as experienced.

Haney won't have that luxury in this era. Guys are more mature, prime, athletic, skillful and can punch. So I view Devin not having power as a disadvantage given his size.

And I think people get it mixed up, it's just my observation, I'm not hating, I like Devin, but he's out here talking like he's the best already when he really hasn't fought anybody of note or equal talent yet. It's like he doesn't realize he still has A LOT to prove.

Floyd is T.B.E. for a reason & it aint from the lies of "guys that either weren't as athletic as him, over the hill or not as experienced," cuz they were all ready & on winning streaks when they fought Floyd. No excuses.

As for Haney, I've been had him as the best of the new kids on the block. Its time we see Haney vs l0m0 for 2020.

Haney should fight Pedraza, would be an excellent measuring stick for him!
