Roy was a great fighter...but there was a time in his career when I had to 'Roycott' him.

        50. Fight Antonio Tarver 21-1 weight problems, we just have seen what happend to Tarver,Vargas if they have problems with weight, but Roy still dominated Tarver in the ring mid and just allowed Tarver to punch him at he ropes to get him tired

still unbeaten the dq is a win and nothing else

        51. Fight Antonio Tarver, Tarver landed one jab in the first round and landed a lucky punch with his eyes closed in the second wow

        52. Fight Antonio Tarver well you can’t win a fight if you throw just 8 punches in some rounds, don’t get what happened there to Roy .

As you can see, many of them were champions or still are champions after their roybout.

I don't care if i got something wrong, but i would love to show you, that many of your favourite boxers hadn't better oppositions.
yeah good post, i was thinking of doing one of this myself

        for example

julio cesar gonzalez was the first man to beat Dariusz Michalczewski(controversially, but still...), beat glen Johnson(controversial too)and still roy gets no credit for embarassing him...

merqui sosa went 12 competitive rounds with michael nunn, he lasted two rounds with jones

toney gets more credit for beating a competetive mccallum in 1997 than jones for beating him easily in 1996, if anything jones gets dissed for fighting "old as ****" mccallum.

eubank lost when he couldve fought jones in 1995, so Jones wouldve got nothing for beating him(besides eubank never wanted to fight him)

benn chose to fight mclellan while Roy fought Toney, and after the tragic ending, was done, lost to thulani MALINGA(Destroyed by Jones) and clown Steve Collins, has accepted he wouldve got beat by Roy

Collins had already lost to Reggie Johnson and McCallum (both lost to Roy)when he fought shells of theyre former selves Eubank and Benn, then in 1997 they couldnt agree to terms and Collins retires......

nunn... maybe a bad style match up for jones but i think jones wouldve beaten him.........and he wouldnt even get recognition for doing it. seriously he didnt NEED to fight, and no one really demanded that fight at the time it couldve meant something...

Dariusz didnt want to fight Jones(maybe Jones didnt want to fight him too, a legitimate threat for him as Dariusz was a big strong light heavy...)

so really i think the jones haters just bring this names up because they cant resist the idea that Jones was so good

Eubanks was old and would have been a a brutal beating. Michalczewski actually turned down RJJ after seeing him fight. Do the research. I loved Julian but he had a bum chin and we know what would have happened there. Calzaghe priced himself out. Whos he to git all the money?

theres alot of other things going on that alot of poeple dont know about and ya cant blame RJJ for it.

Alot of guys fought some **** fighters...doesnt make them any les of a great. SRR fought alot of bums too but look @ his record...174 wins and like 120+ KO's.
