Say what you want about America, but this is the greatest country in the world and it seemingly has your attention- go *** yourself.
Am American but just because I'm American, it does not mean I'm gonna root for the American cowards. You called 130 million, 7 million a low ball? being Wilder and Ortiz two of the least, less known and no fan base boxers, you there to call 130 million low ball? I would call it NO BALLS!

Josh is the face of boxing by by far the best heavyweight boxer in the world. Swallow your vacuous Murica pride and deal with it. Deontay is a bum beater and paper champion.
The face of the heavyweight division yes, the face of boxing not really that spot is already taken and well represented in the middleweight division.

We all have choices. Trust me, I know. I came from the poorest state in the US and I managed to do well for myself. Instead of bashing what a country is doing, how about you get off this site and help. It takes a village one person at a time. I dont and never have depended on the gov. for anything and I'm black. Now back to boxing, the moment Wilder fists catch Joshua and he's out cold, I want to see all you naysayers come out.

How do we know what was offered to Wilder or Ortiz. Do we have an actual contract that Ortiz had. Man can fix his mouth to say anything. Show me a contract that Ortiz supposedly turned down. FOH

Fair enough. But you can’t deny the fact that he’s the primary reason why boxing is so lucrative again and why a lot of money is being pumped into the sport.

That’s basically why I don’t understand why he gets so much hate because when there’s excitement in the heavyweight division, it permeates through the rest of the sport.

5 years ago, who thought there would so much money and excitement in boxing the way it’s right now? Floyd and Pac were the only ones making money, with Canelo in the fringes. Now a lot of boxers are eating.

No, as a citizen of a country, there are certain perks you’re entitled to. They’re your rights, especially in a developed country that America claims it’s.

No one should be homeless, dirt poor and suffering the way loads of black people are in America. All the money spent on useless military adventures in other countries should be invested in the people. Hold your ****ing useless government responsible, you docile knob.

Wilder will only do that in his sleep. Wonder why he’s not as confident as the wildettes?

Damn, alot of talk other than boxing on this thread. I don't really prefer AJ or Wilder, or Fury for that matter. From everything I read, to include Ortiz' own team, they dropped the ball on the fight. My guess than as it is now, is that he probably had PEDs in his system. I don't think any of the top guys are afraid of the others nor do they think they will lose. In order to get to a certain level in anything competitive you have to have a strong belief in yourself.

Don't know who would win between AJ and Wilder but the jockeying and delays in getting the deal done have absolutely nothing to do with one of the fighters being scared nor does it really provide one with an indication of who will win the fight. It's entirely about maximizing money and advantageous position.

Love to hear you enlighten us some more about those "perks" you're "entitled" to, and just exactly how all that money should be "invested in the people."

I'm gonna get up every morning and continue to bust my ass and make my own "perks." You keep sitting around waiting for your "entitlements" and let us know how that works out for you. No one ever gave me ****. I don't have a lot, and most of what I've earned over the years has been taken away from me, but I'm smart enough not to expect anything from anyone or walk around thinking anyone owes me anything.

I've worked in the ****tiest ******s around for years, and I've also worked for some of the richest familes on the PLANET. Probably the biggest sickness both classes of people had in common was this sense of "entitlement" you speak of.

Want to see discrimination and unfair treatment? Try spending a decade applying for and working a government job some time. Please don't sit around telling me I ever had it any easier than the next guy because of the color of my skin. That's complete utter horse****.

Dude step up and fight a formidable opponent and stop worrying about loosing either Fury or Wilder's belts that your holding hostage. Gone are the days where fighters fight whomever- win, loose, or draw.
Its horrible across every weight class, fighters running scared with underserved belts.
                      ****** fake news troll

Team Ortiz confirmed they turned down the offers

The manager criticised the promoter as it was life changing money

You are a cancer to boxing with your fake crap, the only top guy who has been trying to fight is aj but everyone has avoided him as the risk is far too great
