I agree. All fighters 40+ should get a pass for using PED's. Let's level the playing field and give the old guys a chance.

All American sport is loaded with drugs, all the way down to the amateur levels.

USADA allows a lot of American athletes to take banned substance and give them TUEs for it.

Always amazes me how all these top elite athletes all have medical conditions that they have to take a banned performance enhancing substance for.

Floyd himself not on got a TUE but got a retroactive TUE. Meaning it took a banned IV in front of a USADA official which was not giving any notice to take by any doctor, an IV that is used to mask PEDs taking after.

Yet Floyd had no serious medical condition that we know of or what he could have had to explain this retro-active TUE.


BALCO managed put pump their athletes full of designer steroids. And USADA didn't find a thing.


We have also seen in boxing that they have destroyed test samples.

And they rarely catch anyone as opposed to VADA.

USADA is probably the most corrupt testing agency and floyd knew that he can put them under his payroll and with USADA he can take whatever PEDS he wanted and pass the test with flying colors.

VADA is more credible than USADA they caught more drug cheaters and wouldn't give anyone special treatment just like what USADA did to FloIV.

Are you now saying before Mosley vs Mayweather all fighters without VADA or USADA testing you can be sure they never used PEDs.

Not sure how that makes logical sense.


But to avoid confusion, I will ask you straight.

Can you be sure that Floyd Mayweather never used PEDs in fights before he fought Mosley?

This thread is about manny and Thurman and PED testing for their fight. Thurman made comments and that’s what we are discussing.

Why are you diverting the thread by asking questions about Floyd? Stay on thread topic.

If there is no Vada or USADA testing for the manny/Thurman fight then no fan can be sure both guys are clean. That is my only opinion relative to this thread and I don’t know how you or anyone could disagree.

You know how boxingscene is. I also think this is Thurmans way of not letting his respect for pacquiao get in the way of his performance. Yes, your fighting a legend, a man you look up to(his own words), but at the end of the day you will need to try to tear his head off.

I am not sure why people are trying to twist this statement, Keith Thurman is insinuating that, even if Pacquaio was taking performance enhancing drugs? It would not matter, he would still beat him.

If you get caught with drugs in the Phillipines, you get the death penalty. I know Manny is the biggest risk taker in boxing but would he risk his life? F VADA, Canelo only got a 6 month suspension.
