In all honesty if you ask a normal guy that doesnt watch boxing they will only be able to give you the names of three current boxers. Those boxers are, Oscar De La Hoya, Mike Tyson, and Arturo Gatti. I do realize Mike Tyson is now retired but ask people and many will give you Tyson because they dont keep up to date.

If you put Gatti in the Hall of Fame, you better go back and put every other "warrior" who won a title belt in there. Give me a ****ing break. Gatti is great for boxing, but to put him in the Hall of Fame would completely ruin its credibility.

so basically you guys think Gatti deserves to be in because he's exciting? LOL

I think he should get into the hall of fame personally, not because of the competition he faced, but because he is what boxing is all about. Hes has great heart and that is something boxing lacks today. He is still the face of boxing IMO, not PBF, and i think he should always be remembered. What better way to be remembered then put into the hall?

his last 2 or 3 fights should decide whether or not he should be in the HOF.

If he beats Baldomir then I flip a coin, heads I think he should be in, tails he shouldn't be.

Some of you guys are using ridiculous criteria.

Let's put Emmanuel Augustus in IBHOF. He is entertaining. Sounds silly, right? Well, it SHOULD.

**** Arturo Gatti. He has never beaten a single a-level fighter. Not ONE. And he was horribly humiliated when he fought the elites. Gatti is hot steaming garbage.
