Based on record which is a fact, Thurman still the 1 WW until defeated. Spence and Crawfords claim is based hype.
Thurman had 3 belts, but lost them because he used injuries to avoid his toughest challenges. You don't take two years off for arthroscopic surgery and a bruised hand.

If reading this makes you cringe, you'll probably cringe puke after watching this fight.

This is a setup for maximum profit gain. And to say Pac is flaking off against Spence is narrow minded of you. Pac doesn't even have to fight at this age. All this is a gift seeing a legend still fight to this day and still have some left in the tank.
Exactly Spoon. This sets up a huge fight between Spence and The winner of Pac Thurmon.

Winner of PAC/Thurman vs. winner of Spence/Porter. The fight is easy to make since they're all PBC boxers.

Pacquiao and Crawford were for all fighting each other but Arum didn't want either to fight each other. For that reason and the Horn judging fiasco caused Pacman to finally leave Top rank.

In regards to Spence, the winner will probably fight him most likely

Thurman already got Garcia and Porter on his record

                Spence has Brook.

Crawford did well at other weights but got nobody of note at Welter.

Should be a good fight both guys have good styles and I think they will mesh well.

Can Thurman get back to his best?
Yeah man, there's a reason this fight is happening. And there's a reason a lot of people are sour.

I think Thurman can get back to his best, as long as he doesn't have any long-term injuries and fights at least 2 times a year. He's still in his physical prime and he's as motivated as one could be for this fight, so it's gonna be a great fight man, I can see both guys getting hurt

That's the problem. You guys still talking about what Thurman did 2+ years ago. That's not even relevant in 2019-2020. He barely beat Porter and won a split decision vs Garcia, that's not exactly dominate, that's worthy of rematches. Then he didn't even defend the titles he gave 1 up. Then came back and admittedly was 2-3 punches away from getting stopped by a C level boxer.

Now there's new top dawgs at 147. The names are Spence and Crawford and they are both reigning Champs

And Thurman has been doing every thing else but trying to get in the ring with either 1 of them to prove he's still the best.

                      Good post. Green K.

I have Spence and Crawford as the top 2.
The Pacman should call it a day very soon.
