In the game of chicken the Big Three heavyweights are playing with each other. ESPN, TR, and Fury will inevitably blink first. AJ is a superstar in the UK and can make ridiculous amounts of money fighting anybody over there. Wilder isn’t contractually tied to anyone. But he’s PBC’s golden goose. And when push comes to shove, he can fill any arena in AL fighting anyone. And he has a following in NYC that isn’t far behind. So PBC will glad play him handsomely, maybe even overpay him to keep him in the fold. And then there’s Fury. Who ESPN has guaranteed a lot of money. Right on man,Goerge Foreman would eat these current crop of hws for lunch. Only AJ/WILDER/FURY would be able to provide competition to him & imho even though AJ/WILDER would have a chance because of their power I think prime Foreman would stop them all within 8(esp.fury).

That being said I'm not sure whether Wilder hits harder than Foreman because someone once likened getting hit by Foreman as feeling like getting hit by a 100lb bag of sand,where as Wilders power seems to be more like getting shot in the head by a small slug. If theres 1 thing I've learned from studying boxing my entire life,its that Speed kills & translates to a different kind of power than certain fighters like Foreman who seem to hit you with a 100lb bag of sand at a slower speed.

I think Foremans punches had more of an accumulation effect because every single one of his punches is like a medium traveling unbelievably heavy object where as Wilder relys on hitting you with a single well placed haymaker thats much lighter but is also traveling much faster. So I think Wilder has 1 hitter quitter power where as Foreman relied on every single punch collectively adding up til your head/body couldn't withstand being physically moved from the mass/weight behind it. If Foreman was able to increase the speed his punches hit with,hed kill every opponent imho.

Likewise if Wilder was able to have his punches weigh what foremans did with same speed,I think hed kill someone. I think Wilders power knocks you off your feet but you can recover sooner where as when Foreman kod you youd be lucky to sleep the entire week afterwards without falling into a coma.

Nothing wrong with taking the ESPN deal it provides Security and Guaranteed money for him and his Family but SAY THAT! Stop with the "It Went To ESPN To Make The Wilder Rematch Bigger"

This, 100%. Top Rank and ESPN wanted a HW fighter desperately. Fury wanted to be in a position to maximize his name, personality, and earning potential. Like Crawford at 147, ESPN will prop up any opponent with a support network here in the US that will promote his fights with rabid enthusiasm regardless of opponent even as the huge fights are not made. I begrudge him nothing. Smart business decision. But it was not made with a Wilder rematch in mind when that fight was scrapped to make the ESPN deal reality.
