Rememeber when fighters weren't signing to DAZN, the likes of Broner and Mikey Garcia were saying that they already made more money than Hearn offered, even though they're fighting maybe once every nine months, where as Hearn offered them 3 fights a year.
If they're making more money but fighting less often, then they're being overpaid. Nobody on PBC generates that much money. So it seems to me they're being overpaid to stay. That is always going to come to an end if that's the case.

You keep talking about lineal which shows how dumb you are as Pacquiao has more lineal champions on his list and at their best weight. He beat Marquez, Barrera and Morales at super feather. He also beat Bradley and Cotto at welter and when they were at their peak.
When you look at Floyd's record, it's more a case of who he didn't fight during certain time periods t
Answer me this directly, why didn't pacquiao ever beat the top guy at 135, 147, and 154?
Floyd beat the top guy at every weight class he's been in except 140.Last edited by mcdonalds; 05-21-2019, 12:46 PM.

Pacquiao beat them all in 18 months. 1-4. Who else has done that?
Keep ducking, I can see why you like Mayweather, you must admire his ducking skills
Mosley was begging for the fight against pac and was the TRUE weltweright champion due to his lineal status. Cotto beat Mosley two years prior in a close fight so that's irrelevant given the fact that Mosley destroyed margarito after margarito destroyed cotto.
So why did pacquiao never beat the top guy at 147??? Why did he decide to pick cotto after a poor performance agisnt clottey and only s year after a horrific beating to Marg?

Margarito fought Cotto with loaded glove, Was caught out by Mosley before the fight.
Mosley was offer the fight with Pacquiao the same time as Cotto. Mosley turned it down because of the catchweight demand.
Mosley was due to fight Clottey in October I think then Berto in Jan/Feb.
Both fights fell through.
Mosley was inactive, lost his ranking.
Pacquiao was number 1
The ring rust really showed against Mayweather.
Cotto was the much harder fight on paper and in reality.
For Pacquiao and Mayweather.
These are the FACTS.

John Nash has a podcast he does for MMA as well, but can't say I've listened much to him. Heard him maybe once or twice, but he definitely has a good grasp of what is going on in the UFC. I have read some of his articles and he goes in depth with these financial issues.
Good stuff indeed.

Pacquiao being #1 in your opinion is irrelevant because Mosley was the TRUE champion with Lineal status . Even if Mosley was #2 in people's opinion, why couldn't the top 2 guys fight each other? Beating the next best guy after yourself still counts as beating the top guy in the weight class....
Oh thats right, Pac cherrypicked Cotto instead of fighting Mosley. Cotto got destroyed by margarito and almost lost to clottey. He picked on a VULNERABLE champ instead of facing the REAL champion at 147.
THESE ARE THE FACTS. HE NEVER BEAT THE TOP GUY at 147
