When are people going to see virgil hunter is the most overrated trainer in the world? Yes, ward was an ATG, but other than that, dude has produce nothing but losers. What kind of gameplan it was to stay within striking distance of wilder? You have to stay away at all cost at first, then as the fight drags on, try to frustrate him and hope to catch him out of position. You NEVER stay within striking distance.

For Anthony Joshua wanting to fight Deontay Wilder is insane. Wilder is just too fast quick and athletic for him. If Joshua squares up by standing flat-footed without moving his head it will be good night Irene for him. AJ is just too slow. Wilder releases his punches much faster and harder than Joshua does.

So what part of boxing being a business first and actual competition second have you been ignoring for the past 30 years. They have no obligation to make a fight for the fans, especially if the fanbase keeps supporting them no matter who they do or don't fight.

And when it comes to ego, who wouldn't want to stay undefeated for as long as needs be? Why would AJ fight Wilder if he didn't have to? Or vice versa? What's in it for him? He'll stay just as popular in the UK whether he ever fights Wilder or not.

          I totally agree
          Virgil Hunter is way overrated
He did well with Andre cause Andre had all the tools necessary and a very good ring IQ

            It's already the idea. They aren't ******. It's simple business/market value/maths.

Because he would go down in history with a question mark against him, just like Bowe did for never fighting Lewis.

Wilder did nothing new today.... It's what hez been doing before. Despite that, he's still getting improved offer to sign but he seems not confident enough yet.

I will wait until his confident enough to sign then we can talk.

I ain’t an AJ or Wilder fan
But for how long will the fans stand behind him if he won’t fight the person we all are itching to see him fight
By the way , I always thought AJ would beat Wilder but after tonight , I see Wilder is learning something from his fight with Fury
                  Not so sure anymore

STFU you ******. You guys said the same thing against fury but he got up and finished the round chasing wilder all over the ring like a little girl.

I get it, just make money, etc etc.

Wilder, AJ, & Fury already have gold legacies and money will always find them with whats already in the history books. A loos by any or all of them won't change that.

Once your grandchildren are secure (theirs are and they don't even have any yet), other things should matter to a man. As a fan I hope other things matter.
