Deontay Wilder has the build of someone on PEDs, just sayn.
How did he go from being KOed by small guys in the amateurs, floored and nearly being stopped by Sconiers, to knocking out heavyweights?
I know his opposition has been poor, with Stiverne the only live opponent he ever beat. And even Stiverne only ever beat a shot Arreola.
But Wilder looked so weak when he was being stopped in the amateurs. Why is he so much stronger now?Comment

I’ve thought for quite a while that he needs someone other than breland. Wilder truly has some bad habits which are not being corrected....firstly he gives away rounds when he goes into “look for an opening” mode rather than creating them with the jab, check left hooks, and straight rights. It’s an very frustrating habit to watch him fall into each and every time. Also, he carries his left low, and I hate that.
As for Ajagba, they are clearly fast tracking him, the one weakness I see from him is poor footwork, he is often flat footed and he’s not going to be able to walk everyone downComment

Not to worry. Deontay has to take part in the WBC Clean Boxing program so he is more tested than most other boxers.Deontay Wilder has the build of someone on PEDs, just sayn.

Right! He must be working out or something. I don't know, maybe he's training like a professional athlete.Deontay Wilder has the build of someone on PEDs, just sayn.

Wilder could use a new trainer though. It doesn't seem like Mark Breland is doing much in helping him in his overall development.
He needs some one to teach him some fundamentals and some scientific techniques. Basically Wilder trains himself.
He said so himself. He trains only when he feels like training.
Which is why there was such a huge drop off in his weight in his past two previous fights. Now he is back to looking like his normal self and healthier again.Comment

Wilder has been doing the WBC clean testing year round for 5 years? He's one of the cleanest in the sport. But news flash... They ALL are on something. Common sense. Like any pro athlete.Comment

I don’t know man. If you look back on the last five or so years. Wilder has hovered around the 225-230 range for most of his fights. The exceptions being the Stiverne fights. And the Fury and Ortiz fights. In those he’s been 220 and lower. The first Stiverne fight was at the time his toughest opponent to date. I think he was motivated to stop Stiverne in the rematch. And of course we know that Ortiz and Fury were the best opponents he’s faced in his entire career. So based on his track record, maybe he’s not taking this fight as seriously. But it could also be a situation where he may have overtrained a little bit for Fury and Ortiz. When he was ridiculously light.Comment
