No, he just pretended to be willing, then didn't sign the contract when it was sent to him and left his fans to make a dozen bullshit excuses for his for lying and ducking.
Biggest myth in current day boxing "Wilder agreed to fight AJ".

Why aint it happened yet then? These clowns don't know when to keep shut.

yeah he wasn't willing to turn himself over to DAZN and leave money on the table for himself without US ppv....its not rocket science....

same token is why wouldn't AJ fight in US for the 50 mil he asked for? lol...u guys are such clowns...like I said..the proof is there about who is making/wanting the best fights.....

aj is fighting parker, povetkin and miller/ruiz

wilder fought Ortiz...fought fury...tried to rematch fury and tried hard for awhile to get AJ

Everybody knew the fight would have been in 2018 ... or Hearn would have been sued for negotiating business deals in bad faith and getting a mandatory defence delayed under false pretences.

He was both disappointed and hurt mate. Anthony Joshua and Matchroom played him for a fool.

He had his heart all set to fight Anthony Joshua in September of 2018 just to have the fight snatched out right from under him by Eddie Hearn at the 11th hour.

This is why Wilder and his Team are now dealing directly with DAZN's John Skipper and are no longer negotiating with Matchroom. It's because the Hearn's were former White slave masters and in addition, Eddie Hearn is a proven trickster, bullshitter and a stomped down liar who can never be trusted.

April 2018 was the new date that Hearn gave for a rescheduled fight after the original offer was scuppered by the WBA calling time and ordering AJ to fight his mando immediately.

Is that really too complicated for you to understand it?
